Returns

We accept returns within 30 days of delivery.

To be eligible for a return, items must be:

• Unworn, unused with tags, and in original condition

• In original packaging

• Please note that customized or personalized items, engraved, or final sale items are not eligible for return or exchange.

 

Return Process

Please contact us at support@mayaruthjewel.com to request a return authorization.

Once approved, we will provide you with our Canada return center address.

Returns sent without approval may not be accepted.

 

International Returns & Customs

For international returns shipped to Canada:

Buyers are responsible for all customs declarations, import duties, taxes, and any related fees required by the destination country (Canada).

We are not responsible for returns that are delayed, rejected, or lost due to customs clearance issues.

If a return is rejected by customs or returned to the sender due to incomplete or incorrect customs documentation, the order will be ineligible for refund.

Please note that for all countries taxes, duties and shipping costs are non-refundable.

When sending the parcel back, please make sure to clearly mention ‘Returned Merchandise’ on the package and to the carrier, so that additional customs charges don’t apply, as we won’t be able to cover them.

 

Return Shipping Costs

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer, unless the item is defective or incorrect.

We strongly recommend using a trackable and insured shipping service, as we cannot guarantee receipt of your returned item.

For return shipping, we recommend USPS First-Class Package International Service, which is generally the most economical option for small, lightweight packages, depending on the destination and package weight.

Actual shipping costs may vary. Buyers are responsible for selecting their preferred carrier and for any associated shipping or customs fees.

Expedited or express return shipping is not required and is at the buyer’s discretion.

 

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected at our Canada return center, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If approved:

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method

Processing time: 3-10 business days (depending on your payment provider)

Original shipping fees, customs duties, and taxes are non-refundable.

 

Exchanges

If you wish to exchange an item, please contact us first.
Exchange orders are subject to product availability and customs procedures.

 

Damaged or Incorrect Items

If you receive a damaged or incorrect item, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos and order details.
We will arrange a replacement or refund as appropriate.

 

Repair

We offer repair services for eligible jewelry items.

• Manufacturing defects reported within 30 days of delivery may qualify for free repair or replacement.
• Damage caused by normal wear and tear, accidental damage, misuse, or improper care is not covered under free repair, but may be repaired at the customer’s expense.
• Customers must contact us before sending any item for repair.
• Unauthorized returns will not be accepted.
• Shipping costs related to repair services are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise stated.
