Method 1: Measure a ring you already own with a ruler

Step 1 Pick a ring that fits the finger you want to wear your new ring on.

Step 2 Place the ring flat on a ruler or tape measure. Measure straight across the inside of the ring, from one inner edge to the other. Round up to the nearest millimeter.

Tip : Only measure the inside of the ring (not the metal).

Step 3 This number is your ring's inner diameter. Use the size chart to find your corresponding ring size.
